Sweeten Up Your Affiliate Offers

Dear Affiliate, have you ever been stuck with any offer that just didn't seem to sell as it should? Were you ever trying to turn your already strong offer into a real hot pick?

When you need to improve your offers, certain things just aren’t possible for you as Affiliate Marketer, like for instance to offer discounts or to deliver upgrades.

What can you do to improve your offers?

Here are at least 6 easy ways to improve your Affiliate Offers, and to maximize your online-profits.

1. Floodlight the Immediate Benefits of Your Offers:

Make the prospects realize, how they can put the product or service to use from the moment they buy it. If you own a copy of the products you promote, create a tutorial, use case studies or some other way of showcasing the results you or others have gotten from it. Show how it will match the needs of your prospects, or how it will cure their “pain”.

2. Get Involved on a Personal Level:

Social proof always adds value to any Offers.
“Proof” by highlighting your own experience with the product or service offered. Discuss any questions, problems and ultimate solutions regarding the product or service at hand. Try to get in the prospects shoes and empathize with their position or situation. Point out what you share in common.

3. Add Incentives to your Offers:

Are there any additional incentives you could provide in conformity with the merchant? This should normally be no problem when you’re promoting infoproducts, membership sites etc. Sweeten up your offers by adding other products to the mix, to foster the purchase. Ever been to a fishmarket? Then you know that it’s simply done like “buy this … and I’ll throw in that … for free”!

4. Enhance the Percepted Value of Your Offers:

The real value of any product or service is always in the prospect’s mind. You can increase that perception in many ways. Example: by guiding the prospect through a comparison of similar products or services, while pointing out why the one that you’re promoting is truly the best deal for his money.

5. Add Intangibles to Your Offers:

Raise the value of your Offers even more with intangibles. Figure out what kind of intangibles are attached to the offered product or services and “sell” them along with your Offers to make it more valuable to the prospects. Some simply irresistable intangibles are prestige, distinctiveness, reliability, simplicity, personal customization etc.

6. Make the Purchase Secure:

“Airbag” your prospects and put their minds at ease. Give them a sense of security in making the purchase. Is there a guarantee, perhaps a refund policy? Very Good! Let them know the details. Make them realize that the transaction is secure. Remove as much risk as possible from the purchase.


The lesson is clear: With a little creativity you can easily add value to your Affiliate Offers. Just use the 6 ways i outlined above to skyrocket your merchant’s offers
- and your online profits too.
